Exercise increases my overall health and sense of well-being. Being active helps me burn out extra energy and distract me from daily worries. Exercise improves my mood by giving me a sense of command over my body and my life. My favorite physical activity is yoga because yoga helps build a powerful mind-body connection. Most importantly, it helps soothe and relax my mind and body at the end of a long day. Bonus, it helps me improve with my flexibility. Every morning, I try to get out do with one of 5 workouts that is yoga warmup, flexibility for beginners, 5 mins flexibility routine, morning flexibility yoga, and basic flexibility moves. For two months, I did basic pliability poses in the morning.
What are my benefits from doing yoga flexibility poses? I will talk about six poses that I do for my yoga flexibility poses. The six poses are forward bend, bridge pose, downward-facing dog, boat pose, child's pose, and easy pose. They have a marvelous benefit that can help me to relax and help me with my flexibility journey. Forward bend helps by stretches and lengthens the hamstrings and calves in my body. It also helps relieve insomnia. Bridge pose makes restorative toward my spine extension and core abdominals. Downward facing dog help unbend my hamstrings and calves and strengthens my arms, legs, and back. Boat pose helps construct my abdominal and core strength. Child's pose stretches my back, hips, thighs, and ankles. Lastly, the easy pose is mostly a hip-opening pose that stretches my knees and ankles and strengthens my back.
